Privacy Policy
Patched is a pilot companion app for ECNL Regional League Southwest girls schedules, standings, and rankings. This policy explains what limited information the app and its API use.
No account / no login
Patched does not require an account. There is no email/password sign-in and we do not ask you to create a profile.
What the app stores on your device
The app may keep small preferences in on-device storage (for example AsyncStorage), including:
- Your selected age group preference
- Whether you dismissed the pilot welcome message
- A random local device identifier used only so optional “follow team” features can work without a login
This data stays on your device unless a feature you use sends a team follow request to our API (device id + team id). You can clear it by deleting the app.
What our servers receive
When you open schedules, standings, rankings, or related screens, the app calls our HTTPS API for public league data (clubs, teams, matches, ratings). Standard web server logs may include IP address, user agent, and request path for reliability and abuse prevention. We do not sell this information.
Product analytics (PostHog)
Patched uses PostHog (US cloud) for basic product analytics so we can understand which screens people open and improve the app. Events may include:
- App open / become active / background
- Screen views for main tabs and navigation paths (for example Tables, Results, Stats, Headlines, About)
- Anonymous technical properties (app version, device type, OS) that PostHog collects by default
We do not use this for advertising, cross-app tracking, or selling data. There is no App Store “App Tracking Transparency” tracking for ads. We do not currently use session replay.
Tracking and advertising
Patched does not use advertising identifiers for tracking across other companies’ apps or websites. We do not include advertising SDKs. Product analytics (above) is for our own product improvement only.
Children
The app shows youth soccer schedule and rankings information. It is not directed at collecting personal information from children. Do not submit personal contact details through the app; there is no messaging or profile feature for that.
Third-party data sources
League schedules and results shown in the pilot may be derived from publicly available Total Global Sports / AthleteOne event data. Patched is an independent companion and is not an official ECNL product.
